Love is eternal｜Custom Pet Portrait

Saleh Alvanoglu is the Turkish teacher in the Taiwan Centre. He has taught thousands of kids their mother language for 43 years. Now he volunteers in the Taiwan Centre, teaching Syrian kids and adults Turkish.


Besides teaching, Saleh has another passion-pyrography. Pyrography is also known as wood burning. The term "pyrography" means "writing with fire" in Greek. Saleh learned pyrography from an artist in Hatay. He loves to take pictures of historic streets and draw meaningful places on the wood. He draws items, people, and animals. The pyrography artist must be highly concentrated for hours to perfectly show lines and layers. Saleh is definitely good at it.


To promote the beauty of pyrography, Saleh starts drawing Custom Pet Portrait. Every Portrait takes more than one week to complete, but it’s worth it!
