We Are Syria｜2022 Aleppo Soap Gift Set

The gift set is made for everyone who wants a happier shower time! It contains 5 Aleppo soaps and 1 Meow Pouch. You can use the soap on travel or in your sweet home. The Taiwan Centre has received support from many people since the day of its foundation, and their kindnesses and contributions keep us going. Thus, we are grateful and want to share this gift set with you. The Aleppo Soap and the Meow Pouch are made by Syrian and Turkish ladies, and the net income of this gift set directly goes to the makers.

The Aleppo Soap is renowned worldwide for its long history and incredible nourishing quality. It’s a hard soap made from natural ingredients. With the inclusion of laurel oil, the Aleppo Soap acts as a gentle cleanser and is well-tolerated by sensitive skin. It can be used for body washing, shampooing, and also shaving.


The 1001 Meow Pouch Project is a collaboration between the Taiwan-Reyhanli Centre and five local NPOs in Reyhanli, supporting Syrian and Turkish ladies in making creative handmade pouches. This pouch is multifunctional. You can put soaps in it, but you can also put other things inside, like a warm pack or coins. We had 68 ladies working in the centre when the pouch was first launched. Now we have 360 ladies in our centre! You can see who makes this Meow for you at the back of the pouch. Each Meow is one of a kind!

Ingredients：35% Laurel Oil, 65% Olive Oil, glycerin, sodium hydroxide, and water

Weight: 200g

Material: 100% wool

Size: 12~15 cm in diameter. Because it is woven by hand, the size is slightly different.
